coursesOur CommitmentSaskatoon Wildlife Federation prides itself on providing the public courses and clubs that promote appreciation of the environment and safety. All our courses are taught by trained instructors who volunteer their time and energy to give our students the knowledge to be safe but have fun in whatever sport they choose. Hunter Safety CoursesHunter Safety Classes are offered starting in September. This course is offered to anyone over the age of 11 years old. Provincial law requires that any one who is going to hunt needs to learn the safe handling of guns and how to hunt in a safe and sane way. When you are finished with this course you will have been tested for your hunter safety certificate and also you be tested for your Federal Possession and Acquisition License. Courses Available: Cost: $63.60 Course Length - 5 Weeks Time - 7:00 to 9:30pm Limited to 25 students The last two classes students will have an opportunity to shoot 22 Rifles under the guidance of our instructors. Adult Intensive CourseWe created this course for those individuals who are 18 years of age or older who are interested in an intensive course that covers the following:
This is an intensive course and all students are required to study the materials provided prior to the first class. Because we limit the class to 15 students if you are interested in taking the class we suggestyou register online. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Payment in full is due a least a month before the course starts. Cost of the class: $150.00 Next Course runs over two Weekends
